Erin Hounds is based in the North-west of England and aims to help a few of the many abandoned and neglected sighthounds that fall on hard times in Ireland.

Halfway there hounds started in 2006 by Victoria Lyon, who, using her contacts in the UK, was able to find places with Greyhound Rescues, for a number of Greyhounds and Lurchers that found themselves with no future, here in Ireland.

Hounds First is a newly set up rescue run by Rachel Hayball, Danielle Waites and Kate Hunter.

Hounds First Sighthound Rescue rescues and rehomes ALL types of sighthounds etc Lurchers, Greyhounds, Whippets and Salukis.

We also try to help other sighthound rescues wherever possible.

We operate throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

All our dogs are placed in warm & loving foster homes where they are carefully assesed and, if need, rehabilitated.
All hounds first rescue dogs are neutered where poss and given full vet treatment incl microchips and vaccinations.
The dogs are wormed and deflead before going home.

GREYS is merely a way of getting dogs noticed. Greyhounds who are still in the care of their racing owners or dogs that private individuals have taken on and are trying to help..... These are dogs who are already well cared for and looked after - and really do not need the very limited rescue space because they are already with people who care for them.... They just need homes and to find a home they need to be noticed!!!

The owners of these dogs can give you their full history and will always back up the homing agreeing to take the dog back if needed... The dogs are in good conditions, upto date with vet work and often no donation is required - just a good home.

Lurcher SOS is a Surrey based Lurcher and Greyhound Rescue, primarily covering Southern England. We have a network of supporters, fundraisers and fosterers in Kent, Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire and all of the South of England, but we have homed our dogs throughout England and Wales. As well as being a Lurcher and Greyhound Rescue, we also rescue Whippets and other Sighthounds. We are all volunteers and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and home abused, abandoned and neglected Lurchers and Greyhounds and other Sighthounds from both the UK and Ireland.

Accolade Hounds is driven by the belief that there is a hound out there waiting for you, no matter who you are, where you live or what your needs are.
